Carris, a game idea halted by anxiety
This little log is being typed the day before the Final day of the VimJam2 and I don't think I'm gonna be doing anything more to this. I might come back to do the title screen and maybe to boss walk animation if I can pull myself together enough to do it but I'm pretty sure I've hit my limit for now on what I can do for this project. Definitely not gonna be coming back to fix any code. Anxiety has got me wrapped around their finger at the moment.
In total 5 days were spent on the initial idea (which only amounted to a player run animation and a not so good Jump animation that took 14hrs over 2 days) and then it shifted direction to what you see now and most of that was put together in 3 days. Basic animations in 1 day, code in like 1.5 (bleed into the day before), and refinement for the art was done in the last day. It's functional but it is the very bare essentials of a game but I'd still call that a win in my books. It's a step closer to me being able to make a relatively complete game
