Stage 2 is now a thing. Oh boy.

So. Been a month. Shouldn't of been this long as I had the game in this state (Minus Soleil's animations) after about 2-ish weeks. Kept pushing it back cause I wanted the animations and I wanted to figure out what I'm doing with Lloyd. I have a general idea, but I didn't want to do his animations until I had something a little more concrete, but I'm a little at a loss. For now, here's what has been changed:

-Soleil  has animations, yay! Lloyd is currently his base animations until I got him nailed. (Unsure as to what is causing the jittering of the sprites as they go higher on-screen)

-There's more Music. Instead of one simple loop playing the whole time, I made a few other loops/songs and put them in for the sake of some variety and continuing to get a feel for how the soundtrack might be.  Hope ya like it.

-Proper Test levels to get a good feel for what Soleil can do and what some puzzle ideas can be accomplished with 2 people.

-The ability to swap between characters! Now there are two people to mess about with, though they won't have access to the same abilities. (In case you didn't read about my coals for the project, Soleil and Lloyd will control slightly differently as the game goes on)

-Very basic and VERY jank "AI" that follows the Player and listen to commands. (Honestly, this is probably what's causing the jitters)

-A new Control scheme that is still in the works! If ya don't like something and/or think it can be better, please tell me cause I don't understand the first thing about proper control despite playing games for years!

-A new look for the test room. Instead of a blue/purple-ish color scheme, now we're going with a faded green-ish look. (Truly an improvement)

-Some minor tweaks to Soleil's controls. (Namely just allowing you to press down to cancel out of a wall slide)

And I believe that's it. Just to clue you in on what I plan to do next, I'm thinking about giving Lloyd a robot to control, in a sense making you be in control of 3 players, but I don't know what I'd do with him. Currently, the controls screen reflects this idea, but it is still subject to change. Another option I had in mind was maybe having Lloyd just go into tight spaces and maybe just being so big brained that he can set up systems to move and/or break bigger obstacles. Unsure though. I don't know which would be better for the game and for me to program as I am very much on my own and running off of hopes, dreams, and sugar. Any input would be welcomed. That's about it. Just needed to get this next stage out there, even if it's not where I wanted it to be yet, just to get it out of my hands for a sec so I can calm down and re-focus.
